Miss Adraboo is surely becoming one to keep up with! She is the vocalist of the up and coming music group, Fly Moon Royalty, and can be seen hosting at various events. She has recently found her inner burlesque vixen thanks to the Seattle and NYC runs of Shine: A Burlesque Musical and Oh Snapz! Productions. "Shine definitely gave my perspective of myself a BOOST! Being Lulu-releasing my Lulu and being in my own skin has been eye-opening! A big gal is definitely doin' her thang!" Still however she does not call herself a burlesque dancer, but simply, a performer at heart. She has theatre training, and has been in many plays and productions throughout Seattle WA, but definitely her passion is for delivering some slick notes to your listening ears! APRIL O'PEEL


Since graduating from Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society's Becoming Burlesque program, this comic cutie has titillated audiences in dozens of venues across Vancouver and Canada. Her sexy silly ways have launched her onto a fast track into the hearts of the Vancouver burlesque community. Proud accomplishments include dancing and co-choreographing for SHINE: a burlesque musical. This busty bombshell and crew brought down the house at Granville Island's Waterfront Theatre to rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Her efforts were noted as she was nominated for an Ovation award in the category of Best Gypsy for her stellar performance and cheery disposition. Other achievements of note include masterminding and performing in Screaming Chicken's entry for Best Group at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend in the summer of 2010. April was also choreographer for the critically acclaimed Burlesque musical Greece Does Grease. Her work for Greece has been called "exciting," "hilarious, (full of) "sass," and "in your face." Recipient of the 2009 Vancouver International Burlesque Festival's award for Comedic and Satirical Brilliance, and voted as Vancouver's 3rd favorite comedian in the 2009 Georgia Straight's Best of, everyone's favourite blonde ball of fun has since returned to scene of the crime to help guide new performers into the magical world of Burlesque by co-teaching the very same intensive where she first found her start.http://www.aprilopeel.com/

Corvetta Curves has been burning up the Vancouver Burlesque Scene since 2007 and presently sits on the Board of Directors for the Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society - http://screaming-chicken.blogspot.com/. She is also a PhD candidate in the field of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies (all that and brains too!). She has performed at the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, Screaming Chicken's Taboo Revue, Kitty Nights, and a number of independent and charity shows. Know for sultry and silly numbers, seriously swaying hips, a dominatrix personality, a dangerous smile, crazy curves, body positive advocacy, and a love of jiggling!

Joanie Gyoza is a very saucy and delicious dumpling. She is a Craftynista,Yummy Baker, Super-Organised-Lady, Passionate Dork, Sexpot Nerdo, Hip Swayer, Titty Shaker, Boner Maker and Authenticity Chaser. Joanie is unapologetically enthusiastic, dirty and divine.By day she is a nurse that specializes in palliative care; by night she's a Burlesque banana, community organizer and performer. She is honoured and delighted to bring her newest solo, The Magic Bean, to the Cabaret of Copious Curves as it is the summation of her ecologic, economic and social sustainability learnings in striptease format! Joanie Gyoza aspires to Radiate Love.




Miz Ginger Snapz is a titty-twirlin’, theory-readin’, fist shakin’, high-femme, queer of color who has been bringing her special spice to stages for over five years. As Oh Snapz! Productions, Ginger produces shows which value art that is both entertaining and anti-oppressive, meaning it works to support all people in our various and intersecting raced, gendered, “queered,” shaped, and sized bodies.
In her spare time, Ginger is a doctoral candidate and instructor at the University of Washington where she teaches, among other things, a course on Burlesque and Feminism. She likes long walks on the beach, cupcakes, and zombies (preferably together). Oh yeah, and glitter is important too.









MAYA PAPAYA (Cheesecake Burlesque, Victoria BC)

Maya Papaya, the Malaysian Sensation brings a tropical flavour to this fruity basket of burlesque. Born amidst and raised amidst palm tress and ocean breeze, Maya loves to get sand and glitter in the most peculiar places! With a cheesy grin and showing lots of skin, Maya heats up a room wherever she goes!

The most dangerous women in burlesque.. but only to herself.
Her love of heavy metal and burlesque has come together creating the sugar and spice of burlesque. Her curves are designed to create feelings inside you that you yourself don't truely understand and she will draw you back to reality with one glace followed by hip shake. A prominent member (President) of Screaming Chicken's Theatrical Society, she takes to any stage with the passion of making you either laugh or cry, but always to entertain and perhaps scare you.. and she will certainly mesmerize you. Precious is also a plus size model signed with Morrismore Model and is skilled in the art of stage managing and zombie apocalypse survival.

MORGAN BRAYTON (HOST)
 
She's hilarious, talented and returning to Host the Cabaret of Copious Curves again this year! Yes indeed - what a treat!

Morgan Brayton makes her home in Vancouver, British Columbia (that’s in Canada) where she performs, writes and enjoys vegan cupcakes with her wife and an excessive number of cats. Morgan is the writer/performer of the award-winning and critically acclaimed one-person shows Girls Like Me and Raccoonery!. She was half of the comedy duo The Crawford Twins and a former member of the popular sketch troupe 30 Helens. Morgan has been a featured performer at Toronto’s We’re Funny That Way Festival, the Vancouver Comedy Festival, Seattle SketchFest and on CBC’s The Debaters and played Mickey Dolenz in a self-produced biopic. Possibly. Morgan is also an in-demand event emcee who can be found hosting everything from burlesque shows to awards galas. An accomplished film and television actor, Morgan can be seen on big and small screens everywhere in a wide range of roles such as: Chubby Best Friend, Second Cashier and Person with Face.

SHABOOBIE BOOBARELLA 




Shaboobie Boobarella is an animated performer with a love for absurd dancing and tongue-in-cheek burlesque. Originally hailing from Australia where she performed for years, she has brightened the Vancouver burlesque scene since 2004. She spent 2 years on the BOD for Vancouver's burlesque festival and is the co-founder of live music spectacular 'The Pink Flamingo Burlesque,' as well as appearing in numerous shows around town and beyond. She hopes to inspire women to maintain a healthy self-image and love themselves no matter what shape or size they are!


SHEA DEVILLE


Shea DeVille, as a graduate of Screaming Chicken's Burlesque program, is a larger than life KAPOW personality with sass and attitude to spare. A regular performer at Vancouver's longest running burlesque show, the Taboo Revue, Shea is known for her elaborate costumes and character-driven performances. As founder of SparklePussies Burlesque, Shea acts as Creative Director, whip cracker and Sugar Momma Extraordinaire to her fellow Pussies. When not feeding her burlesque addiction, Shea puts her business degree to use at her corporate gig as Senior Vice President for a prominent local developer. That's Shea, she never does things in a quiet way!

VAVA VUNDERBUST

Since 2006 she's been 'busting' out with energy, sparkle, and sass – VaVa Vunderbust – is indeed a whole lotta woman! Known for her colourful costumes, over-the-top props, and endearing endowments; she inspires audience intrigue and delight in her womanly shape.

VaVa is co-producing the 2nd Annual Cabaraet of Copious Curves this year, with Corvetta Curves and MM&ON Presents, and she is the current Executive Director of Screaming Chicken Theatrical Society http://screaming-chicken.blogspot.com/

As a performer, VaVa brings comedy, sex appeal, and body positive activism to the stage, as she endeavours to entertain, break body boundaries, and give a whole new definition to the term 'Boobie Tricks'.
